Troubleshooting:
1. Firmware version is outdated
2. M8 response time is slow and formatting the disk doesn't help
3. Menus are disorganized or corrupted
4. M8 will not recognize files
Warning: Upgrading firmware will delete all software and restore the factory default settings. Before upgrading, be sure to back up everything you wish to save.

Click on the newest version of the firmware to start downloading. Extract the RAR file to a convenient location on your computer. Connect your M8 to your computer in USB mode and copy the extracted XIP.BIN file to the disk directory

Disconnect the M8 from your computer. Press and hold the power button + music button during startup(M8 Se:power button + top volume button)

Wait for the Enter Upgrade Mode screen to appear

Choose Upgrade to begin the firmware upgrade process or Restart to cancel the upgrade

Make sure the M8 has enough power while the upgrade is in process. If the battery is low, please connect M8 to a computer before starting the upgrade

When the Succeeded, Please Restart! screen appears, choose Restart to complete the upgrade
